"My Week 5 selection may come as a surprise to those who have followed me the first 4 weeks of the season. I will go with an underdog for the 2nd week in a row by taking the Titans +5.5.
This game has letdown written all over it. The Vikings are NOT a playoff football team. They are a 50+ yard field goal and a bonehead opposing special teams coordinator from being 1-3.
The quarterback edge goes to the Titans. If you don't believe me look at Ponder's stat line last week. It was so pathetic I'm not going to take the 10 seconds to type it here for you.
The biggest weak spot for the Titans is their secondary; however, don't expect Ponder to be competent enough to exploit it. Remember, the Titans don't have to win the game... they keep it respectable. Look for the Titans to get the lead early, take the metrodome crowd out of it, and keep giving Chris Johnson the ball. He WILL get loose!"
