There are 3 games where the disparity in consensus picks exceeds 100. Let's take a look at these three games and then give you THE BISNESS's picks as well as the picks of other SuperContest notables.
Dolphins @ Bengals - Total Consensus Pick Total Disparity = 153
I told you earlier this week this line was fishy. The SuperContest consensus took the bait laid out by the oddsmakers. I already gave my perception and pick on this line, so I won't elaborate again. All I will say is the line seems too good to be true for the Bengals. More times than not when a line looks super juicy to a lot of people, there's a catch. Since THE BISNESS has the Bengals @ -3 this week, I hope the consensus and THE BISNESS don't end up in the oddsmakers net. BENGALS! BENGALS! BENGALS!
Ravens @ Chiefs - Total Consensus Pick Total Disparity = 125
This line is at least as fishy as the Dolphins/Bengals one. The Ravens have looked very solid all year. They are 3-1 this year, and their only loss was a game they let slip away in Philly. The Chiefs are 1-3, and their only win came in OT against the winless Saints. Matt Cassel has been bad, and it's apparent he may be fighting for his starting job already in Week 5...
SO WHY IS THIS SPREAD ONLY 5?!!
I can't tell you that. Somehow Vegas has reason to believe the Chiefs will keep this game close... and although I'm 1 of the few, I believe them. Fight your urge to take the Ravens. Take the Chiefs and KNOW YOU HAVE TAKEN THE CORRECT SIDE!
Chargers @ Saints - Total Consensus Pick Total Disparity = 118
I expected the consensus to be split down the middle on this spread. I think if you took a larger population of spread pickers, you would see that picks for this spread would be roughly even. It seems people are 50/50 whether they think A) the Saints, with their backs against the Great Wall of China, are going to get back on track with a comfortable victory at home, or B) it's as simple as: the Chargers will show they are the better team and will take care of business in N'awlins. I already told you earlier this week which camp I'm a member of.
With that, let's look at THE BISNESS's Week 5 picks. I already gave you Bucky's pick of Rams +1 and Herby's pick of Titans +5.5. I also noted above that we took the Bengals -3. Who did the other 2 wahoos pick this week?
Herby Hamster 3,1,0 Titans +5.5
Willy Walrus 3,1,0 Saints -3.5
Freddy Ferret 2,2,0 Bengals -3
Peter Penguin 0,4,0 Falcons -3
Bucky Bluebird 1,3,0 Rams +1...Bucky Bluebird 2,3,0

I don't know about you, but I see a lot of TENs, NYJs, SEAs, and SDs. Who will have the hot hand out of these contestants this week?
Don't forget to watch the underdog/favorite splits this week as well. 1 underdog already covered on Thursday. Will we see the favorites smash the majority of spreads in Week 5, or will the underdogs continue their dominance for yet another week?
Good luck to you all...
How did ****N SYNC**** sing it, again?
"Bye, Bye, Bye... BYE! BYE!!" (Either nobody reads this blog, nobody cared to correct me, or people don't know their boy bands like they should! I hope it's the last of these.
