I predicted Cincinnati
-12.5. The opening line is -11.5. Although this is technically a home game for
Cincinnati, the Bearcats are playing home games at Northern Kentucky’s BB&T
Arena (10 miles away from the Cincinnati campus) this season. The fact that this isn’t a true home court
advantage for Cincinnati makes it understandable Vegas set the line 1 point
lower than my raw calculation predicted it should be.
I predicted Texas
-6.5. It is exactly Texas -6.5.
How did we do Monday?
UNDEFEATED!! There weren’t any games.
Records overall:
Love It = 3-2-0 (60%)
Like It = 3-4-1 (42.9%)
Total = 6-6-1 (50%)
What’s on tap for Tuesday?
There’s just 2
games. No “Love Its” but I am picking
both games
Like It:
Texas -6.5
Mississippi St.
+11.5
Why are there so
few Power 7 games this week and next?
It’s the end of the
semester. Universities scale back game scheduling this time of year so the kids
can focus on school. Bear with me. Once we start getting into Winter Break and
the conference season, the volume of games will pick up considerably. We will be looking at 60+ weekly games vs.
the measly 18 this week and 16 next.
As always, if you
