The consensus totals aren't always representative of public bettors.  For the most part, however, I believe they ARE representative.  In my Guessing post a few days ago I told you about all of the logical reasons public bettors would come up with to pick the Bengals.  Well, the Bengals are the consensus #1 this week, and it's the WRONG SIDE OF THE SPREAD!
